Recommendations
The Centers for Disease Control and Prevention have provided the following recommendations. These apply to other communicable diseases as well as the H1N1 influenza (swine flu).
- Cover your mouth when you cough or sneeze
- Wash your hands often with soap and water
- Avoid touching your eyes, nose, or mouth
- Stay home if you are sick
